Back then, people just called it double eyelid surgery, and I didn’t know about things like non-incisional or full-incision methods, so I found a famous doctor and just asked them to make it look pretty. Thinking about it now, I think it was probably a non-incisional procedure. It feels like they literally only drew a double eyelid line, with no medial or lateral canthoplasty at all? Maybe that’s why it didn’t look obvious that I had surgery at first, but the problem is that the double eyelid also doesn’t show much ㅠㅠ Before surgery I had inner double eyelids, and there wasn’t much difference from those. I regretted over and over, wondering what it would have been like if I had gotten medial canthoplasty back then. But now that I’m getting older, my upper eyelids have gotten thicker, so there’s barely any difference from before surgery, and I’m considering revision surgery.
