Before before after after after after before after I had double-eyelid surgery 4-5 years ago, but the line was too high and thick, so people often told me I looked sleepy in everyday life, and my double-eyelid scar was also quite prominent. Even 4 years after my double-eyelid surgery, I often heard people ask if I had only recently had it done.. So while looking for a clinic that lowers double-eyelid lines, I had a consultation with Director Choi Jung-hoon at Hani Plastic Surgery Clinic.
The director has a lot of experience with eye surgery, and from the consultation he was very good at empathizing with me. Since this was a revision reoperation, I asked a huge number of questions, and he kindly explained everything well, so I chose him!! Before the revision surgery, even at a glance, my double eyelids had a very thick, high line, so they were like sausage eyes.... So even when I worked hard to cover them with makeup, my eyes always looked sleepy. Actually, line-lowering surgery is difficult, and I was worried that if the double eyelids suddenly became much lower, my image would change too much, so I chose the clinic carefully. But the director explained in detail how he would perform the surgery, so I felt reassured. He said he would lower the line and make it look natural without changing my current image too much.
These are photos from the day of surgery! Since they were taken right after surgery, the anesthesia had not completely worn off and my eyes were a bit bloodshot.
Can you see how the line got thinner right after surgery..?? He also did ptosis correction properly, so even immediately after surgery I could feel that my eyes had definitely become clearer.
When I went in for follow-up after surgery, he checked everything so thoroughly, and he took such good care of the scar management that I was a little touched. (I was touched by how meticulous the director was..) I don’t have a one-week photo.

My original image did not change much, but as the double-eyelid line became thinner, my eyes looked clearly more defined. I really don’t have to draw thick eyeliner when doing makeup anymore, and I’m so happy.
Also, every time I went for follow-up, they managed the scar + swelling so well that I think the double-eyelid line settled nicely! Even before the swelling went down, my friends told me my double eyelids seemed more natural and looked much better, and friends who didn’t know I had double-eyelid surgery kept saying things like, “You somehow look prettier.” Isn’t it a success that my image didn’t change and only the line became natural?!
I am quite picky and sensitive about changes in my appearance, at least when it comes to my own face, but the director kindly took care of me from the consultation to the surgery and aftercare, listened well, and made my eyes this pretty, so I am extremely, extremely satisfied!!
