I heard that if they go in along the existing incision line and lower the fixation point, the line becomes a bit more natural and lower. I remember because I watched a lot of YouTube videos back when I was really interested in lowering a sausage-like double-eyelid line. And ptosis correction is originally kind of like a seesaw, so if you correct one side, the opposite side can come down slightly. The clinic might open one side first and do more ptosis correction, and if the opposite eye doesn’t come down much and looks okay, they may finish with just one side. If they think the other side also needs to be done, they may decide after checking in the operating room and open that side too.
