Since my goal was to improve my protruding mouth as much as possible, I wanted extraction orthodontics, but because the director said extracting 4 healthy teeth would be too excessive even for cosmetic purposes, and that they would do it if the patient wanted but I should think carefully, I decided to go with non-extraction orthodontic treatment! I was very worried that the effect on improving protrusion would be smaller, but fortunately, even without extractions, it improved enough that the before and after were clearly different, so I’m satisfied haha Also, there was not only an orthodontic specialist director but also a director in charge of dental treatment, so during orthodontic treatment there were sometimes cases where a tooth suddenly became sensitive or resin treated at another clinic fell out, and it was good that these could be handled right away.
However, unlike the early period of my orthodontic treatment, as the clinic became famous and started getting more patients, it became a bit difficult to make appointments, which was a downside.
