<Functional (rhinitis) + cosmetic revision surgery, week 2> Before <Before photos> I kept debating revision surgery and finally got it done~ I had my first nose surgery 5 years ago at a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam. Back then, I didn’t really know anything, and I didn’t look up consultations or reviews. I just listened to someone I knew and went there for the surgery. At first it was okay, but after about 3 years, I started feeling like my nasal tip was gradually drooping, and even though I had surgery for a bulbous nose, the nasal tip was still blunt, so it bothered me. Still, I just lived with it, feeling satisfied enoughㅜㅜ But as my rhinitis got worse and worse, my nose would get blocked at night so I couldn’t sleep, and I became tired and worn out in daily life. So I went to an ENT clinic, and they said the inside of my nose was deviated, so one side was blocked and it was hard for me to breathe. They said I needed surgery for a deviated septum? and rhinitis, so since I was already doing it, I started looking into hospitals to revise the drooping and bulbous nose at the same time ㅜㅜ After looking up reviews, filtering out hospitals, and going to consultations, I finally had revision surgery after half a year!! Ah, I seriously regret not doing it sooner ㅠㅠ It feels so relieving like this.. I’m the type who swells easily and bruises really badly.. (After my first surgery, yellow bruising covered my entire cheeks and lasted over a month..) So I was really worried about that this time too, but after the surgery, I only had swelling and didn’t bruise at all, which was surprising. The swelling is still pretty full, so I’ll have to keep watching it a bit more, but I can see that it’s slimmer than before, so I’m satisfied for now haha For the revision surgery, I used autologous costal cartilage, and it still aches a bit, but just being able to breathe properly feels so goodㅠ Since it was rhinitis surgery, the cotton packing was removed on day 5 ㅠㅠ The external stitches were removed together with the splint at week 1. The internal stitches and the stitches near the rib were removed at week 2. Right now, I’m taking walks and drinking swelling-reduction tea so the swelling goes down faster. Once things get a bit better, I want to go to a dermatology clinic and get all the sebum extracted haha
