Before/after/after/after I had double eyelid surgery in high school, and as time passed, my double eyelids became covered, so I went for consultations for revision double eyelid surgery. But all three places I had booked consultations with recommended a forehead lift first, so I gave up on double eyelid surgery and looked into a forehead lift instead. If you look at my pre-op photos, the double eyelid is visible at the inner corners and outer corners of my eyes, but the eyelids are drooping in the middle. I wanted to make that part round, but they said that if I had double eyelid surgery, the distance between my eyes and eyebrows would become even narrower, which could make my impression look stronger and more stuffy, and it would also be difficult to get a rounded line. So I decided to proceed with forehead reduction and forehead lift surgery.
I went to two consultations, and the director at the clinic was very kind and explained everything step by step and in detail. They listened to everything I was curious about, and I liked that the consultation didn’t feel rushed. There was almost no waiting time either! After thinking about it for a few days, I decided to have surgery at the plastic surgery clinic! Honestly, it was a procedure I wasn’t familiar with, and since I had originally been thinking about double eyelid surgery and then changed plans, I worried a lot until the day before surgery about whether or not to go through with it. But in the end, I really like the result! My double eyelid line shows well, and my stuffy-looking eyes and strong-looking impression have improved.
My forehead isn’t extremely wide, but I didn’t want it to become any wider, so I had reduction done together too! It’s week 2 now, and the incision scar is less visible than I expected, and hair is growing well upward too. The uncomfortable parts were having some headache on the first and second days after surgery, and the numbness in my forehead and scalp is uncomfortable, but after about a week, you just get used to the numbness. So far, I haven’t had side effects like itchiness or hair loss. They said that even if those happen, they are temporary and will get better! When I reach one month, I’ll go back to check the progress again, and I really like that they continue to monitor my progress responsibly even after surgery until I fully recover! ㅠㅠ
