Before before before after after after Hello This is my 2-week review after nose revision using autologous costal cartilage When I had my first surgery 5 years ago, I wasn't very happy with the shape of my nose. Also, the Gore-Tex placed in my nasal bridge became crooked, making my face look asymmetrical, and that stressed me out a lot. I decided to have revision surgery to fix the crooked nasal bridge and to raise my blunt nasal tip. While visiting different clinics, I had a consultation with Director Kim Jae-yoon at Lowell. After taking a CT scan, he explained in detail the problems with my existing nose and the reasons why I hadn't achieved the results I wanted from the first surgery! He also pointed out a slight asymmetry in my nose that doctors at other clinics hadn't caught, and based on the shape I wanted and the areas my original nose needed improved, he explained everything carefully, from material selection to precautions, so I trusted him even more!
After surgery, they provided aftercare such as swelling injections and swelling laser treatments, so the major swelling was able to go down really quickly. I'm still only in week 2, so not all the swelling has gone down, but I can see it decreasing every day, so I'm becoming more and more satisfied. Also, the pain from the autologous costal cartilage disappeared after about a week, so it didn't interfere with daily life!!
This is a surgery review pursuing a refined yet natural look.
