My lips were thin, especially my upper lip.. and they were even slightly asymmetrical When I smiled, my upper lip would roll inward, making my gums show a lot, and I really hated that my upper lip disappeared But I also didn’t want lip filler that would make me look like a duck.. and after seeing reviews saying the philtrum gets longer, I spent a long time debating Then Russian lip filler gradually became popular, and since I was preparing for my wedding, I thought, “Let’s just try it,” did a ton of research online, and chose a place with lots of reviews saying people were satisfied with their lip filler
I went on Saturday, and as soon as I arrived, they applied anesthesia and I got the injections I talked with the consultant first, and they also recommended thread lifting, but I had seen a lot of reviews saying first-time filler all disappears, so I said I’d do that later After they wiped off the numbing cream and I waited, the doctor came and explained things to me. I heard about other areas too, but they mainly talked about my lips and explained well the parts I wanted I got about 8-9 injections in the upper lip and about 3-4 in the lower lip (I said I didn’t want to touch the lower lip much) Even though there were a lot of needle pricks, only 0.7 cc went in. First of all, the doctor said they wouldn’t overdo it, and because my lips were so thin, they said they did it with the feeling of first creating a pathway. Honestly, it did hurt, but it was bearable. I think it just hurt because I got pricked with the needle many times. (I’m pretty good at tolerating pain, and the doctor complimented me, saying I was handling it really well compared with how nervous I was hehe) As soon as I came out after getting it done, my friend was even more satisfied than I was and said next time she’d definitely come with me and get it too lolololol
On the first day, it felt a bit stiff and painful, but it looked pretty, so I was satisfied. On the second day, aside from some bruising, I barely felt any foreign-body sensation, which was fascinating. Now it’s day 3, and I’m not sure whether this is swelling or not, but I’m so happy just because my upper lip is thicker and doesn’t roll inward when I smile ^_^ I debated for 2 years, but I do think you have to be careful, so I have no regrets!!
I think I’ll be even more satisfied if I just get 2 touch-ups within the next 3 weeks ~ And after getting it 1-2 more times and the filler shape settles, I don’t plan to get greedy..!! I’m happy I got the lips I wanted
