It’s day 19 after my double eyelid surgery. I had epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, and natural adhesion. The epicanthal fold at the inner corners of my eyes wasn’t that severe, and when deciding the line, I liked an in-out line, so I said I wanted the line to be visible starting from the inner corner. They recommended upper epicanthoplasty, so I said OK and had the surgery.
But it looks like the epicanthal fold at the inner corner has come back. I’d like your opinion on whether this is an epicanthoplasty incision mark that will improve after 1 month. The inner corner on the right is still slightly red, so I don’t know if it has healed or what, and I can’t wash my face or wear makeup. When the stitches were removed, they said I could wear eyeshadow and do everything except eyeliner and mascara, so I assumed that including cleansing, some irritation would be okay.
But since the inner corner of my eye is slightly red, I’m worried that if it gets irritated, it could become inflamed and turn into a big problem, so I’m not wearing makeup and I’m not washing my face with soap. Please judge whether an epicanthal fold has formed and it’s a side effect, or whether it’s a mark that will disappear, and also whether soap-water irritation is okay when the front is slightly red.
The app photos show it better, so I prepared app before-and-after photos. It only makes the pupils look bigger.
