I wasn’t confident I could wear a compression garment, so I chose a place that doesn’t require one. Since I live overseas, I had a consultation the same day and had surgery right away. Rather than a place that removes too much, I chose a clinic that would do it safely. They objectively told me that because my arms sag quite a lot, I wouldn’t be able to get extremely skinny, bony arms, and that actually made me trust them more. It has now been 3 days since surgery, and the pain has improved a lot, but the day after surgery it hurt so much I could barely move. I’m still extremely swollen, but the back-of-arm fat that bothered me has still disappeared a lot. Once the bruising fades a bit more, I’ll try posting before-and-after photos.
