Eye Re-Surgery

Incisional double-eyelid re-re-revision surgery, ptosis correction, and canthoplasty that I think went wrong

Phew, the double-eyelid surgery I had before came undone, so I had a re-re-revision surgery with an incisional method. I also had ptosis correction redone, and they said they would release the epicanthal fold, so for the first time I also had in-place canthoplasty (medial canthoplasty + upper canthoplasty).

It’s now day 31, and I don’t know if they fixed the eye that had come undone too strongly, but I have mucosal eversion and forehead tightness too. The epicanthal fold has actually become worse than before surgery.

I don’t know if I’ve gotten used to the forehead tightness or if it has improved, but it does seem a bit less severe. Still, I’m upset because I feel like the re-re-revision surgery failed.

Since it was a re-re-revision surgery and incisional, I had only been worried about swelling, but now I’m so, so stressed because of the mucosal eversion, epicanthal fold, and forehead tightness.

Of course, the mucosal eversion does seem to be coming down little by little. I don’t know if I’m imagining it though Will it all come down once the swelling goes down?

The clinic says it’s because of swelling, and that the forehead tightness will completely get better if I wait a month, but don’t all plastic surgery clinics say that?
