I had revision double eyelid surgery to make my eyes more symmetrical, but because of the characteristics of my eye shape(?), they said the double eyelid heights on each side need to be set differently for them to look symmetrical. So we set the left side at 7.5 mm and the right side at 8 mm.
If anyone had double eyelid surgery at around 7.5–8 mm, please let me know how your crease line turned out..! Was it a thin in-out line, just a regular in-out line.. or closer to an inline crease..?
As far as I know, that isn’t decided just by the number of millimeters. I know that depending on the person, even 6 mm can become a hidden double eyelid, and the same 6 mm can also turn out thick.. The result can just differ depending on eye shape, structure, skin thickness, and things like that?.. Since there can be a lot of variation if you ask based on millimeters, I think the best way is to look at the line the doctor marked on your own eyes. (+To add, though, on average, I’ve heard patients who want a natural look do around 6 mm, and patients who want a slightly in-out to more glamorous look do around 7–8 mm.. Most people do around 7 mm.. I heard this while going to consultations too. My memory is a bit fuzzy, so it might not be accurate
