Liposuction Reviews

Consultation tour for liposuction + buttock fat grafting

Originally there was exactly one place I was curious about, but while I was at it, I also went around to the hospital my friend recommended.

1. A place near Apgujeong Station starting with ㄹ They seemed kind on YouTube.. I left a comment and their reply was kind too, but wow.. I’ve truly never been to a place this rude before. I was hurt.

I honestly used to not think much and just go to roughly well-known places. Then I had a skin side effect, and because of that I changed into someone meticulous enough to first look up side effects and study them by summarizing about an A4 page.

I don’t expect kindness. A blunt doctor with skill is better than a kind doctor without skill. But being rude is different.

To the doctor, I’m one of countless people, and it may be annoying to repeat the same things. Even if I study, it’s my first time, so of course I could have questions, but they told me I seemed like I would be sensitive, and that if I was like this, they couldn’t do it. They said they already have lots of surgeries scheduled and that I don’t necessarily have to do it here

No... I wasn’t refuting anything they said or nitpicking. I had written down what I was curious about, and as soon as they saw it, they asked if I had a sensitive personality.

I was dumbfounded, so I said I’ve had breast surgery too, and I just live with the remaining scar because dealing with it is bothersome, and even though a little scar tissue shows from my lateral canthoplasty, I just live without caring.

I said I’m not a sensitive person, but liposuction has a high mortality risk, and since this is my first time having this surgery, I want to know about side effects and how they respond if something happens. I said I feel trust and peace of mind when I know things rather than not knowing.

Then they said there are 9 pages of consent forms and that they’d give them to me, so I should read them and studyㅡㅡ They said I need to think good thoughts for surgery to go well, and even if side effects happen, the doctor handles it, the patient doesn’t need to know, and that it’s the same as saying you can’t drive because you’re afraid of having an accident.

I was speechless. The consultant also said I was sensitive and that nobody prepares this much, so I said if I hadn’t been careful, I would’ve just gone somewhere cheap, so why would I have come here? Then she had nothing to say.

Would they handle things well here if I’m dissatisfied or if I have side effects? Looking at my armpits, I clearly have scars from transaxillary breast surgery, but when they said it wasn’t severe, I thought, ah, if they see this as normal, then even if a problem happens, they’ll say it’s nothing. They’re supposed to be serious about scars, but after seeing this, they said it wasn’t severe and asked if there’s even any occasion to look at armpits, so it doesn’t add up.

The price was a little over 10 million won, and honestly, I earn good money. Price isn’t important to me. But that day I had dance practice, so I went in a tracksuit, and I wondered if they were looking down on me because of that.

Anyway, I was hurt an enormous amount and went to the place my friend recommended. I’ll write about that in the next part.
