It’s been about a month and a half since the surgery
I heard that if the philtrum is handled incorrectly, it can turn into a triangular lip, but there’s no such shape deformity, and the scar is something I need to keep watching after surgery, so I’m going to take care of it while applying the ointment well.
Originally, I was going to put filler around the Cupid’s bow to cover my flat philtrum, but I was worried it would make my lips look duck-like, so I did philtrum dimple surgery as well.
I don’t think they aim to reduce things blindly by a lot. They looked at the proportions of my forehead, midface, and chin and performed the surgery so it wouldn’t look awkward. I think it was a good decision to do the dimple surgery too.
