I had only been browsing, but I got so worried(?) that I’m writing this!!!!
It was my first rhinoplasty (hump nose), and I had silicone placed on the nasal bridge and donated costal cartilage and ear cartilage used for the nasal tip / TMI, but I also had double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and lateral canthoplasty done together
The cotton packing inside my nose was removed right away the day after surgery
Now, on day 4, I still have plastic supports(?) inside my nose and a splint on
***They say you can breathe well once the cotton packing inside the nose is removed, but for me, far from breathing well, I feel even more pressure, so whether the cotton was removed or not, daily life is even harder. Is this a normal(?) recovery process I can’t breathe through my nose at all, and sometimes there’s only a leaking-air sound or a whistle-like sound, and I’m still breathing through my mouth and my nose is running That’s how it is
All kinds of thoughts are going through my head
I researched around in person, and it was a hospital I could trust in many ways, so I got it done there
***The hospital where I had surgery didn’t take a CT before surgery. This is just my guess, but my hump was severe and my rhinitis is severe too, so the doctor wouldn’t have overlooked that, right?
I haven’t had the splint removed yet, but besides the shape and height of my nose, I also really, really like my eye surgery
But because I can’t breathe, I’m so worried and distressed, so I’m asking!!!!!!!!!!
Anything at all is fine, so please leave a comment
