I live outside Seoul, so it was hard for me to go all the way to Seoul for consultations, but the manager in charge kindly guided me through KakaoTalk, and after I sent photos of my eyes, she said it would look pretty if I did incisional double eyelid surgery plus epicanthoplasty, and she helped set the surgical plan to suit my eyes!!
On the day of surgery, the front desk staff at the clinic kindly guided me, so I waited comfortably until my consultation, and then I also consulted with the director!! I didn’t have any particular line I wanted, so the director designed the line to suit my eyes and then did the surgery! The director was a woman, and she was so kind and explained everything well. When I went into the operating room, I was really scared, but the nurse told me not to be scared, played music for me, and after I fell asleep and woke up, the surgery was over!
After surgery, when I was still groggy, the nurse supported me to the recovery room, and I lay down and did an ice compress. I received medication and ointment from the clinic~ They also gave me an ice pack~ Everyone at the clinic was kind, and the facilities were clean and nice!
On the first day after surgery, the pain was a bit severe, and I had purple bruising, which gradually turned yellow. Until the stitches were removed, it was uncomfortable and frustrating to open my eyes And washing my face and showering were the hardest Before the stitches were removed, my mom washed my hair for me... After the stitches were removed, the swelling went down quickly. When I went back to the clinic to have the stitches removed, the wait was short, and I got them removed right away and left. And as time passed, the swelling gradually went down, and now the line has settled beautifully, so my eyes are definitely bigger and more opened than before, and I’m so satisfied!! I think once just a little more swelling goes down and my eyes settle, they’ll look so pretty!! Thank you, director~~
