I had revision surgery to correct double-eyelid asymmetry, but they made the asymmetry even worse. During the consultation, they said, “We can make them symmetrical; we only need to lift the front part where it has come undone,” but when I went for the 3-month follow-up, they said, “These eyes were inevitably going to be asymmetrical.” They made one side an outline crease and the other side an in-outline crease, and then say there was nothing they could do about my eyes. How is a patient supposed to trust anything before having surgery? If it was difficult to correct the asymmetry, I wouldn’t have had the surgery in the first place, but their attitude during the consultation and during the post-op follow-up was completely different. If I could go back, I would absolutely never have surgery here. One eye became a complete sausage eyelid, and I got a large scar at the inner corner/front of the eye.
