I had it done in the winter of 2013 or 2014. I was extremely thin, a size 44, but when I lowered my head, my chin folded into several layers, and I had severe sagging and fat under my chin. I was worried about it, so I had a consultation and had surgery about 2 weeks later. Before the surgery, I was so nervous that I could barely sleep, and I was terrified, wondering what if the surgery went wrong or if there might be a hole in my chin. It made my hair stand on end. It has been 6 years since I had that surgery, and my chin fat is only somewhat less than before; it is still there... The review photos are so dramatic that they are very different from my surgical review. I am satisfied that there was no major accident. If someone told me to do it again, I would be too scared to. For about a month after surgery, it hurts sharply and throbs when you turn your head.
