Ten years ago, when ptosis correction surgery wasn’t common, after I finished retaking the college entrance exam at age twenty and before entering university, my mother said she knew a place from church that was known for doing eyes well, so the place we went to was ㅅㅅㄹㅇ Plastic Surgery. Apparently it had done so well in the provinces that it moved to Apgujeong, Seoul, or something like that. Back then, smartphones had only just come out and YouTube wasn’t popularized yet. Of course, it was my fault for not going around and doing consultations, but I thought eye surgery was an easy procedure, and my older sister had a good result, so without thinking much, I decided to get epicanthoplasty and ptosis surgery on the day of the consultation. In conclusion, the first surgery is especially important. Don’t end up like me, with things ruined from your early twenties and developing social anxiety. Do your legwork from the first surgery. You can even get surgery at a hospital that is good at revision surgery, and that honestly seems like the best option in life. They say we live to a hundred now, and although I paid five million won back then and got botched, I think spending around five million won on eye surgery is acceptable. And if there isn’t any major problem, men shouldn’t get surgery. The same goes for women, too.
