I went for a consultation for revision eye surgery and lower blepharoplasty fat repositioning (young male director).
Regarding revision eye surgery, he tends to clearly say what cannot be done. About my existing eyes, which have scar tissue after incisional surgery, he said, “For an incisional case, this is actually very natural-looking. People don’t know you had double eyelid surgery, do they?” so I wasn’t sure whether I should be happy about that or not. He said, “I can do this much, but not all plastic surgeons can do this much.”
For lower blepharoplasty fat repositioning, he explained it in relation to several factors together, such as how much the cheekbones protrude, age, and so on, so it made me think this isn’t a surgery you can decide on by only considering under-eye dark circles and fat.
He seems like someone who tells you not to do it unless he really recommends it, so there probably won’t be overtreatment.
