Nasal bridge - 3 mm Gore-Sili Nasal tip - septal cartilage extension
I had surgery 12 years ago, and one month ago I had total removal + nasal tip cartilage repositioning.
When I first saw it after getting the stitches removed, I was a bit surprised because the nasal dorsum looked so wide from the front. But thinking about it carefully, when I had my nose surgery, I had my slight hump shaved down.. I think that’s making it look even widerㅠ
For those who had a hump shaved or had osteotomy, I think the front view may look a bit broad after removal. It’s been one month, and compared with right after the stitches were first removed, the nasal bridge has risen slightly and become slimmer, but it still feels a little broad. But my original nose didn’t really have much of a bridge either, so I’m not dissatisfied haha
As for things like the contraction phase, I’m pretty insensitive;; so I didn’t really feel anything clearly. I did feel like the shape of my nose changed every week. It seems like the height of the right and left sides of the bridge is different, or the swelling goes down differently on each side. It’s still ongoing haha From the side, I think it’s much better than my original nose. Haha I like this part.
The nasal tip area still feels a bit uncomfortable when I touch it. I can’t make a pig nose. Maybe because it was repositioned, the nasal tip is still hard.
At first, I was worried because the right and left nostrils seemed a bit asymmetrical, but as the swelling kept going down and changing, they seem to have evened out to some extent. Or maybe I’m just used to seeing it... haha
For now, at one month, I’m very satisfied that I had it removed.. Now I just hope the open-surgery scar disappears haha
Then I’ll come back again around the 3-month mark.
