I deliberately uploaded photos taken by someone else. Originally, I had uneven eyes, with one double eyelid and one monolid.
Because my eyes were slightly upturned, I wondered whether to get epicanthoplasty, and I was also worried that ptosis correction might be overcorrected, but there wasn’t a big difference. The swelling from the epicanthoplasty did last a long time. A year..?
The doctor suggested making it a slight out-line crease, but I said I didn’t want that. Now that all the swelling is gone, I regret it... I think it’s better to just do as they recommend.
It’s not like my eyes turned out incredibly well, but in my opinion, my eyes were the kind that would be hard to make successful and could easily turn out badly with surgery, so I don’t regret getting about an average result.
