Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

This is my eye revision surgery review~!

I'm going to write a review of my eye revision surgery from now on. After I first had the revision surgery, I was a bit surprised because the swelling under my eyes was severe. Even though it wasn't my first surgery, since I was getting revision surgery after several years, I ended up making a fuss like someone having surgery for the first time lol

I remember when I had the stitches removed at the one-week mark! When the stitches from the epicanthoplasty were removed, tears welled up in my eyes ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I still can't forget that stinging feeling lol The double eyelid area didn't hurt much even when the stitches were removed, but the epicanthoplasty was especially painful ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Still, the director told me it had gone well, so all the worries I had for that week felt like they completely disappeared, which was so nice haha And what I liked most at that time was that, maybe because time had passed, I could gradually see the swelling going down, and I was also able to wash my face and shower again!

After about 2 weeks, the swelling changes day by day. From what I felt, it seemed like I was swollen in the morning and it went down in the evening. The decisive factor was whether I was active or not. On days when I definitely went outside and walked, I could feel that a lot of the swelling had gone down. One eye was a bit more swollen, so I was scared my eyes would become uneven, but when I applied warm/cold compresses properly, the swelling became similar lol There seem to be quite a few people who worry because the swelling goes down unevenly, but unless the difference is extremely severe, I think you don't need to worry about it lol I was like that too lol

And now that a little over a month has passed, the tight pulling sensation has mostly disappeared, and a lot of the discomfort when I lower my head or open and close my eyes tightly has gone away, so I'm happy. Also, maybe because I had canthoplasty together with the revision surgery, my eyes definitely look bigger and more open, so I think my overall impression has improved too. I was really worried because it was revision surgery, but it was worth putting effort into looking for hospitals and going to consultations. As I kept writing, the post got long, but thank you for reading!
