Before <before surgery> After <right after surgery> <day 2 after surgery> <day 7 after surgery> <day 10> <one month after surgery> I had double-eyelid revision surgery and medial epicanthoplasty. I went after getting a recommendation from a friend who works in the cosmetic surgery field, and maybe because it hasn’t been open for very long, there weren’t many reviews, so I’m taking the initiative and posting one. (There were some reviews on the app.)
I had surgery with the buried-suture method 8 years ago. Maybe because I was a student then, I pursued a natural look., Now, 8 years later, it has basically become an inner double eyelid. My eyes look stuffy, the double eyelid is too hidden.. and the double-eyelid crease often comes undone..
The eyes I wanted and the answers to that - I want it not to come undone: surgery with full incision (they said the risk of the double eyelid coming undone is lower, but it takes time for the scar to heal) They also said my eyelids are slightly drooping, so they would slightly cut away the sagging part and lift it upward (maybe because I rub my eyes often..ㅠ) - I want the double-eyelid line to show: the double-eyelid line can be made to the degree I want, but if it is too thick, it looks unnatural. (They recommended an appropriate level.) - I want medial epicanthoplasty: they said I don’t necessarily need medial epicanthoplasty because the distance between my eyes is not that wide. (But I want medial epicanthoplasty lol) - I want an outline crease: they said if I do an outline crease, my eyes would probably look too intense (they recommended an in-out line / I asked for an in-out that looks like an out-line)
Unlike places that finish the consultation in 1–2 minutes, they really consulted with me very carefully, so I said OK right away and went ahead with booking. My mom had surgery right on the day of the consultation, and I booked mine for the next day!
Next time, I’ll also share my thoughts from the surgery review.
