It’s already been 3 weeks since I posted my first review I think a lot of the swelling has gone down, so I’m leaving a front-view photo!!!
During the consultation, they said the position of my nostril wings and the size of my nostrils were asymmetrical, and when I took photos, that was exactly the part I was conscious of. Now there’s no asymmetry, and the scar is barely visible!
I saw on YouTube that if you make the incision on the slightly reddish, translucent flesh that forms when the nose develops, the scar is less visible??? (a video from another hospital) But the director here did the surgery exactly like that, so it really doesn’t showㅋㅋㅋ If I don’t tell my friends, they don’t know because there’s no scar... When I tell them, only then they go, huh? and look closely, and then they say, no wonder my image looked a bit different
I’m truly grateful again to my medical father...... It was a lifelong complexㅠㅠㅠ Whew, the consultation manager, the director, and even the pharmacist at the pharmacy in front of the clinic were all so kind
Oh, and for those who had nostril wing surgery, this may be good to know: once the stitches are removed, they said you can apply scar ointment right away instead of antibiotic ointment (The clinic told me to use antibiotic ointment for a bit even after stitch removal, then switch to scar ointment, but the pharmacist at the pharmacy in front said scar ointments have gotten much better these days, so if the stitches are out, it’s better to apply scar ointment right away)
The clinic name is ㅇㄴㅁㄷ in Apgujeong, and there’s one director
I had the stitches removed after 1 week, and since the stitches themselves were transparent thread, I met friends and went around from about day 5 (Maybe because they were transparent stitches, my friends didn’t even think of surgery and said they thought my skin was just chapped..)
And a few days after getting the stitches removed, I was eating meat wraps and opened my mouth too wide, so the wound almost opened a littleㅠㅠ
What I wondered then was, at ㅅㅇㅋ they said they remove stitches after 3 days because they’re worried about stitch marks, but I thought if someone careless like me had done that, it would have 100% opened up......
Actually, I did end up with about 2 slight stitch-hole marks. But I think they’ll fill in quickly, so I’m not worrying about it.. I think having temporary hole marks is better than the wound opening
In a few months, I’m going for scar laser treatment as follow-up care, and even now it doesn’t show, so if I do laser too, I feel like there won’t be any scar at all
Oh, I carefully wiped it every day with disinfectant on a cotton swab and managed it by applying the medication consistently too
Hoping this review helped, I’ll scurry off Honestly, I wrote it as my thoughts flowed, so the post is all over the place
No implants such as silicone or cartilage were inserted at all
I had nostril wing reduction + nostril wing lift + correction of curved nostril wings, and the cost is normally around 3 million won, but I did it for 2.7 million won on the condition that I post a review on Babitalk after half a year (I think they offered pretty exceptional terms because I was a somewhat dramatic case and also a student.. Of course, the post I’m writing here is truly something I’m posting voluntarily, so it’s a total ramble)
