Oin Review from the community

Unlike some other people, I was very satisfied after surgery and also satisfied during the consultation. I had surgery on December 11, 2017, and before that I had a serious complex about my square jaw, so I spent 5 years researching carefully with safety as the top priority. Back when I was doing volunteer work in the school cafeteria in 8th grade, someone said I looked like kkakdugi, and after that I made up my mind to get plastic surgery right after the college entrance exam. Then I learned about Oin, and after the exam I went only to Oin for consultation, then booked a date and had the surgery...

From the consultation onward, I couldn't judge what the director's consultation style was like, because I had nothing to compare it to. I just went with my mom, but I didn't get the impression that they were unfriendly. And at the time, a short-haired female staff member? told us about the cost, surgery date, and precautions, and since I said I had taken the college exam, they gave me a discount too. My mom and I asked about everything we were curious about and paid right away, then had the surgery ㅋㅋㅋ

After the surgery, I was truly satisfied, and my parents and acquaintances often say that my overall vibe became brighter and softer. I myself am extremely satisfied with life after the surgery. I even wear my hair short, put it in a bun, wear a ponytail, and sweep it behind my ears.

I recovered well with no side effects at all. I ate well after surgery, could just not chew hard foods, and was able to go back to school a week later. Of course, I took a week off using a field-trip excuse ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ And for three days at school, I wore a hoodie and a scarf. I was still bruised and swollen, but I could open my mouth well and even eat dakgangjeong, so none of my acquaintances knew I had surgery. They just thought I lost some weight? Only my family knows, but even my family says it looks natural. Especially my younger sibling kept saying, 'Maybe the surgery failed? There's not a single sign of it, what a waste of money,' but I actually love that it turned out so natural. I asked them to leave the area under the ear-jaw line, and since I said I like a round face, they made it round too, and after surgery they showed my mom the bone and the deep buccal fat muscle? whatever it's called.

And I stayed in the hospital for one day because the surgery was on Monday after school ㅋㅋ

I was said to keep looking for the pretty nurse noona. After the surgery, the general anesthesia hadn't worn off, and even after my mom left, because it was my first time under general anesthesia my head really hurt, but they kept coming in to check on me. When I asked if they were staying here because of me and whether it was annoying, they said no, that not being in pain was the priority, so I should rest first and they would bring pumpkin porridge later, and they even held my hand. Even though that was 2 years ago, I still remember it, which shows how kind I thought they were..

And they contacted me regularly after 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year to check my progress. But around a year later, once the swelling had completely gone down, it felt a little asymmetric, so I asked the clinic, and they said to come in and take a CT? a picture of the bones, so I went, took the scan, met the director, and had a consultation.

But on the photos it wasn't asymmetric, and the director showed me my pre-op photos and explained that it had always been asymmetric, and the left side of my face sat a bit higher overall, so it only looked that way, that it wasn't serious at all, and that no one else would notice it. They said it only felt serious to me, since it was my own face. In fact, after I lost weight I felt like it didn't seem asymmetric anymore ㅋㅋ

And there was no nerve damage at all, no sagging skin yet, and the scar behind my ear isn't visible at all.

The reason I'm writing this in detail is that I'm truly so satisfied with my life after the surgery, but I felt upset seeing the low rating, so I'm leaving this.

And I see a lot of reviews saying it's expensive, but for me, effect + safety always come first over price, so I didn't want to save money on the surgery fee. So I told my parents I would definitely pay back the surgery cost myself, and asked them to cover only half so I could pay the other half by working part-time. And I paid it all back :)

I didn't want to gamble with safety at another place just because it was cheaper. If I went back, I would definitely do it here again
