I booked just after hearing that an acquaintance of an acquaintance had good results with lateral canthoplasty. I usually avoid big hospitals like this at all costs, but I trusted just that one comment lol
The elevator took forever, there were lots of people, and the consultants were typical big-hospital consultants lol. There were tons of uncomfortable things, but the doctor still seemed fairly outgoing and okay.
I'm quite satisfied with the surgical result, but I think I was lucky. There are several surgical methods for lateral canthoplasty, and in the past I once put down a deposit at a non-incisional hospital but canceled because something felt unreliable. If you're going to do it, I think doing it properly with an incision is right. But it is a surgery that gets talked about a lot. An acquaintance who went on my recommendation ended up getting a restoration surgery.
For reference, the scar doesn't seem visible anymore, and I think there is a bit of a ㄷ-shape, but it doesn't bother me much. Maybe because my eyes were originally on the big and long side, even if it's there, it doesn't seem very noticeable. My personality also isn't very sensitive to begin with.
