6 or 7 years ago I had a double eyelid surgery consultation and then got the surgery. They used local anesthesia and, while opening my eyes and adjusting the balance, they kept sewing my eyes, making me open them, and repeating that process diligently until the surgery ended. But after about two weeks, once the swelling had gone down somewhat, they said the balance seemed off, so I went back in for aftercare on one eye. A few months later, I started noticing asymmetry when looking at photos or mirrors, and when I tried to go back for aftercare again, I couldn’t because of work and personal circumstances, so I just lived with it. The scar is also fairly visible, and overall I think the clinic was just so-so.
