Ever since I was young, my narrow, small eyes were always a complex of mine. When I was in high school, I decided to get surgery and went for a consultation at a clinic introduced by an acquaintance. That’s when I found out I also had ptosis, and because I had a lot of fat in my upper eyelids and needed fat removal, I had full-incision surgery on the same day as the consultation. Thinking about it now, I really had no fear lol
Since I’m the type to swell easily, it took about a year for the swelling to go down and for everything to settle, but I’m satisfied because my eyes look much more defined now. Since it was full-incision surgery, I also like that there’s no chance of the double eyelid loosening! I used to be bothered that the incision line was visible when I closed my eyes, but as time passed, I just became numb to it lol One thing that does bother me is that now that I’m in my 30s and my skin is starting to sag, the line is gradually getting thinner~ It feels like it might eventually become an inner double eyelid, but if there aren’t any major issues, I’m just planning to live with it as is.. lol
