When I was young, for my first canthoplasty I got one of those cheap event-priced non-incisional canthoplasties, you know? Places that do full canthoplasty for around 1 million won. I don’t really remember the name of the hospital where I had my first canthoplasty. And since I didn’t feel any effect, at Co&Me Plastic Surgery (I think the name has changed now, but I don’t remember; at the time it was called Co&Me), I had my first double-eyelid surgery with buried sutures and also had revision posterior/lower canthoplasty. Back then I went with my boyfriend as a couple, holding hands side by side, and we got our eyes done together, but only mine got botched^^ His turned out well, so later he even got his nose done there and became a totally different person. Anyway, there my double eyelids also got ruined and became completely uneven. I still couldn’t tell if the canthoplasty had any effect either, so eventually I went to Lari, the so-called final boss of canthoplasty, though people are very divided on it. As expected, there was an effect. Oh, I also had my double eyelids revised there by incision. For the canthoplasty, I was satisfied because I didn’t get severe scar tissue or anything, but for my double eyelids, even before my first buried-suture surgery, my original eyes had overlapping double eyelids, thin eyelids, and were the type that formed double eyelids easily. Even though I had them done by incision this time, one side came undone after just 4 months. So I told them, and they immediately scheduled a revision and redid only the side that had come undone. But then about 3 months later, this time the opposite side came undoneㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I told my friends, “Have you ever seen an incisional double eyelid come undone on both sides within a year?” and they said, “Is that even possible?”ㅋㅋ It is possibleㅇㅇ So I told the hospital, and they immediately did another revision. But thinking about it later, the reason mine kept coming undone was probably because when I first had the double-eyelid surgery at Lari, I asked them to make sure it wouldn’t leave scars. And honestly, there really were no scars at all, but if the fixation is stronger, the scar can last a bit longer, though it usually doesn’t come undone easily. I think they made mine natural so it wouldn’t scar, but my original double-eyelid folds were stronger, so it came undone. After that, they fixed it a little stronger than the first time, so the line is slightly visible, but it hasn’t come undone (at first, after the surgery, it became so natural within a few months that the surgical line was not even visible). Their aftercare is good here. If the canthoplasty is uneven or you don’t like it, they also do revisions. First of all, the treatment-room staff and front-desk staff are so kind. Once, due to circumstances, I unavoidably had to bring my dog (it was a time when there was no one else there, and my dog is tiny, around 2 kg). Of course I shouldn’t have brought the dog, but I was only going in for disinfection and had nowhere nearby to leave the dog, so I had no choice but to bring the dogㅜㅜ I’m sorry. But all the staff found the dog cute and said the director shouldn’t find out, and while I was getting disinfected, they took turns hiding the dog with their clothes and watching the dog. Thank you.. My friend saw my canthoplasty and went there too for her third revision. Later, she also said honestly this place really has very divided opinions and there are many people who get overcorrected and need reconstruction, but even if she could go back, she thinks she would still get it done at Lari. For people like us who didn’t see much effect elsewhere, you can definitely see an effect. Oh, the price wasn’t cheap, partly because it was revision surgery. For double eyelids and canthoplasty, it was a little over 5 million won including VAT.
