Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

Realistic swelling 3 weeks after facial contouring

It’s been about 3 weeks since I had 3 types of facial contouring surgery, you know? The swelling in my face is no joke. My cheekbones look even wider and flatter than before surgery, and my jaw is lumpy and uneven.

I had a CT scan at week 2, and the bones definitely were reduced. But this damn swelling... I’m seriously going crazy wondering when it will go down.

Last year, if I had only trusted the hospital reviews, taken just 2 weeks off, had surgery, and gone back to work, it could’ve been a disaster. I feel like having about a month of leeway for surgery this time was a brilliant move.

For me, swelling is one thing, but small blood vessels in my eyes seemed to burst, and they only disappeared after almost 2 weeks. I also had bruising around my eyes, so people looked at me kind of strangely lololol. They probably thought someone had hit me.

Now that it’s week 3, the bruising is almost gone, but the cheekbone swelling is seriously bad now. Since I look even wider than before, every morning when I look in the mirror, I don’t even look human. And the jaw is so lumpy and uneven it goes without saying. The swelling doesn’t seem to go down steadily and gradually in a regular way; it seems to swell up, go down a bit, stop, and then repeat.

Anyway, I feel like I won’t know whether my face looks better than before until more time passes, so I feel like I’m going to lose my mind. Even venting here makes me feel a bit better lololol.

Everyone, if you’re thinking of getting facial contouring, I hope you leave yourself plenty of extra time. Of course it differs from person to person, but for me, the swelling is lasting a long time. I do tend to swell easily, though.
