The epicanthoplasty I had 10 years ago left things really bumpy and with a lot of scarringㅠㅠㅠ I worried about it for so long and finally got restoration surgery today.
I asked them to restore only the scar as much as possible without doing too much restoration, and they explained that they would proceed with the surgery aiming for 100% improvement, but it might only be restored about 70-80%!
There’s taping? in front of the stitches, so I can’t really see the inside well, but you can still kind of see roughly, you know? It feels like the subtle restoration I requested was successful.??? I’m not sure, I think I’ll only know after the stitches are removed
Please recommend foods that are good for scars, teas that are good for swelling, or routines!!!!
And has anyone had taping??? put on their epicanthoplasty area like me? They told me to leave that on so it doesn’t come off if possible,, and that they’ll remove it when I come in to get the stitches taken out (in a week), but how am I supposed to apply eye ointment???? ㅠㅠㅠ Ugh ~~
Please tell me how to care for scars,, should I remove eye discharge and apply a lot of eye ointment..? Ugh, because of the taping I feel like the eye ointment won’t reach the stitch area..
I’m absolutely not a broker. As someone who suffered because of epicanthoplasty, I’m planning to share my surgical progress to share information!
Today is the day of surgery. (And my double eyelids usually swell easily,, so please keep the swelling in mind)
