Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

My canthoplasty restoration turned out well, right? For eyes, natural really is the b…

Before Before <eyes before restoration // They were opened way too much, so all my eyelashes curled inward, poked my eyes, and made them bloodshot ;;> After <after restoration surgery! It’s one week post-op, and I was surprised recovery was faster than expected> After After <at one month! You can see better after removing the eyelash extensions, right? Everything that had curled inward is now out..> After After <This is also at one month, but on a different day. Recovering well without scars,> Eye surgery is easier to access than other cosmetic surgeries, and relatively many people around us get it, so I think a lot of people here take it too lightly,, Now I’m going to briefly write this while showing photos that are practically my past now, hoping people will please!!! find a place that’s good at canthoplasty and has real expertise. I hope lots of people search, find this through others,, and please don’t get excessive canthoplastyㅠㅠ

First of all, you can probably tell from my eyelashes and piercings, but I really like dressing up in a flashy style, you know? So for eye surgery too, I really wanted my eyes to be bigger than now and to have huge eyes even bare-faced. So I got greedy and did lateral + lower canthoplasty,, and the result was a total disaster lol,, At that hospital they definitely said it was fine and I had those surgeries, but after a few months it turned out to be over-opened canthoplasty + my eyelashes curled inward and kept poking my eyes, to the point that it was ruining my real life too

Cosmetic surgery is something I did because I wanted to live a better life and be more satisfied, but when it turned out like this I was so upset and got hit hard with reality,, I think it was really miserable lol. But that doesn’t mean I could live with these eyes forever. On top of that, the eyelash poking was so severe that I even developed conjunctivitis because of it, and I was diagnosed at the ophthalmology clinic as needing entropion correction,, Anyone could see my eyes had a serious problem

My first surgery failed at a large, factory-style hospital,, so when I looked for hospitals, if it wasn’t a one-doctor clinic, I just filtered it out. Honestly, it’s not easy for a large hospital to do restoration well.. And even places that say they are eye specialists, when you actually go for consultations, there are many that consult so carelessly, okay? lol Don’t be fooled just because others say a place is good. Go in person and decide for yourself,, I also chose this place because the director’s consultation was the most detailed and he explained the surgical method in great detail. This is TMI, but at the consultation I said my eyelashes had curled inward and were poking my eyes, and the director said it must have been really hard and uncomfortable, that I endured it well, and that he would make them pretty again without discomfort, so I was really touchedㅠㅜ....

Anyway, the director said for my eyes, it would be good to do entropion correction and restoration surgery together. At first I wondered, shouldn’t that be done at an ophthalmology clinic? But it can be done at a plastic surgery clinic too, and this place also handled insurance, so doing it together with the restoration seemed better. But the director knew I had canthoplasty two months ago, and he examined my eye condition really carefully to see whether it was okay to touch the eyes again now, looked closely at things like skin condition and whether the scars had healedㅠㅠ This was the first hospital that told me the proper timing for revision surgery has to be right in order to do restoration well,,

Honestly, if I compare the pain? between restoration surgery and canthoplasty, canthoplasty is more,, uncomfortable,, the eyes sting more (anyone who has had canthoplasty will know, but after canthoplasty doesn’t it seriously, really hurt? For me it felt like sand had been sprinkled in my eyes; it was gritty and stingingㅠ). Also here, the director personally checked everything during follow-up visits and provided aftercare, which was good. The director said it would become more natural over time, and at one month, seeing it restored without real scarring was so fascinating. Around then, I also removed my eyelash extensions, and people around me said my natural-looking eyes now are much better,, It feels like I found a new style too haha,,

After going through canthoplasty -> failure -> restoration, I realize again that with cosmetic surgery, not overdoing it is really the best,, Everyone, just because dramatic eyes are trendy these days, don’t blindly follow the trend. Get surgery within the proper range for your own eyes! That way you won’t experience side effects like I did,, ㅠㅠ I’m sincerely grateful that it’s restored now, even at this point,,
