Male nose surgery, day 10

Hmm, I’ll mainly talk about what I felt!

On the day of surgery, they asked if they could use me as a plastic surgery clinic model

It seems it wouldn’t be partially public, but would show up on the main page!!

I broke out in a sweat and refused ㅜㅜ I’m not famous, but I’m shy...

They take you into the operating room, tie your arms and legs, and insert an IV.

I also work at a hospital, so that kind of thing doesn’t bother me.

They wrap your face tightly!

After that, some female doctor I’d never seen before came and said, I’ll just administer anesthesia and leave~ and as soon as she did it,

I usually enjoy the moment anesthesia kicks in, you know? It’s fun!!

But as soon as I heard that, I don’t remember anything. Didn’t get to enjoy it at all...

I usually think all sorts of things like, oh, am I being anesthetized? When will I fall asleep? But this time it felt like I was cut off in 1 second.

When I get an IV, I need to pee so badly that I should sleep for at least 2 more hours, but I sprang up while being moved to the recovery room.

I needed to pee ㅜㅜ But nothing came out for 1 hour ㅡㅜ

In the end, after 3 hours I went home and peed.

When I first saw the line, my original nose was quite prominent and had a very tiny hump. But although this prominent nose was on me as a man, I hated that because it was prominent, my nostrils showed from the front ㅜㅜㅋ Women may prefer a semi-ski-slope line, but ㅠㅠ

So I really explained that I wanted it to look natural, not obvious that I’d had plastic surgery, and not flashy, with example photos for each area, and explained everything lololol

Anyway, the surgery was done with donated dermis (probably from a pig cadaver?), ear cartilage, osteotomy, rhinitis surgery, and pulling the columella, like this. A lot of people are reluctant about donated dermis, but it’s been 10 years since I got filler, and when I grab the filler, a whole handful just grabs, yet I’ve never had inflammation even once, so I used Megaderm instead of silicone. Since I have relatively little flesh on my nose, it was also suitable for shaping it. (But they said my nasal septum was extremely deviated the farther inward it went, so that surgery was harder than the nose surgery.)

As for the shape, I originally had some height around the glabella, but now, considering that about 30% will be absorbed because of Megaderm’s characteristics, they added more, so it does feel a bit heavy-looking! It’ll go down, right!! I can see it changing day by day!!

+ Question

After rhinoplasty, is it normal for the nose to feel heavy even normally, or to feel tight when making facial expressions? An older guy I know says he still feels this even after 5 years, but if it stays like this for me, I think it’ll feel frustrating again...
