After visiting four hospitals for before-and-after photos and consultations, I ultimately had surgery at Noh Jong-hoon! During my consultations, I brought a checklist and checked everything carefully: 1. It should not operate like a factory-style clinic 2. An anesthesiology specialist should be on site 3. The director should have more than 10 years of experience 4. CCTV footage should be available for review 5. The hospital should have dantrolene And so on. After considering many things, I decided Noh Jong-hoon was the best fit, so I had surgery there. The waiting time wasn’t long, and rather than just being unconditionally kind, the director was honest. He felt more like the kind of doctor you’d see if you went to a hospital for a cold, rather than someone who seemed like a plastic surgeon, so I trusted him even more.
It has now been exactly 2 weeks since my surgery, and today I had the stitches inside my mouth removed. On the day of surgery, it hurt more than I had expected, so I regretted having it done. But seeing the major swelling go down faster than expected and my facial line become softer, I feel like this surgery was worth enduring the pain for...!
I had cheekbone reduction + square jaw reduction + chin surgery + double-chin liposuction. Maybe because there were many surgical areas, from day 1 to day 3 I could barely sleep because of a runny nose and phlegm. From day 4, it gradually got better, and from day 6, the runny nose decreased and I didn’t have pain, so I think I slept well. The side effects are that I lost my sense of smell due to general anesthesia, and there is asymmetry when I push my lips forward in an “oo” shape. When I asked the director, he said these are things that will gradually improve with time, so I’m planning to wait without worrying too much! I’m the type who worries a lot, so I also requested a CT check during week 1, and there were no particular issues; the bone had been contoured well. If you’re considering facial contouring, I recommend getting a consultation! There’s still swelling left, so I’ll write another review around week 5 or 6 :)
