Hehe, I posted a review after getting Cojelco nose surgery, and there were many comments asking whether there had been any shape changes or discomfort so far, so I’ll write one more review with photos! I had surgery on October 1, and in my second month I caught a terrible cold and blew my nose, but the shape doesn’t seem to have changed much!
[My nose before surgery] 13 years ago, I had dissolvable nasal filler + threads, and they did not dissolve 100%. I had a fairly defined nasal bridge, and my nasal tip drooped very slightly, so I always felt a bit disappointed, but it was not to the point where I needed rhinoplasty. I raised only the nasal tip with a few threads, but it felt like it dropped again after about 6 months, so I looked into nasal tip surgery several times.
[~1 month] Because of swelling, the nasal tip was pointy, and the area where the hump was shaved down looked plump from swelling, but almost all of it went down. The nasal tip became slightly rounded and natural, and the nasal bridge became slimmer. If anything, the ear where cartilage was harvested was uncomfortable.
[~2 months] I caught a cold and was scared to blow my nose, but even when I blew it strongly, the shape has been maintaining well. Picking my nose is also possible. There is a slight step-off, but it doesn’t feel unnatural; rather, it looks like an originally pretty nose. I think no one would know I had surgery unless I told them. My ear has also healed well, so I can wear a mask.
[~3 months] Maybe the shape has completely settled, because there are no shape changes, and when I touch the tip, it feels less hard. I’m satisfied so far!
