I’m currently on day 11 after surgery, and I’m just leaving a review! I have no intention of putting any specific hospital down or hyping any up.
For reference, I’m male. My nose condition before surgery: short nose + slight nostril exposure from the front + nasal tip drooping a lot + silicone 5-5.5 mm + the silicone was tilted, making it look like a hump nose and crooked nose. My preferred nose: flashy or semi-natural (natural 2: flashy 8 ratio) / lower the columella / improve front-view nostril exposure and tilted silicone /
ㄷㅇㅇ - Otolaryngology specialist - Price 5.7 million - Diagnosis: crooked nose + shave hump + nasal bridge + nasal tip + osteotomy not needed - Thinking silicone 4-6 mm - There is mesh or some strange foreign material in the nasal tip; said the foreign material could become a variable - Autologous costal cartilage alone - Whether I’m having dental orthodontic treatment doesn’t matter - They didn’t seem confident, so I didn’t really choose them; the price was also too cheap

Nasal bridge + nasal tip + osteotomy not needed (they said I could do it if I wanted, but not really necessary) - The silicone should be lowered by 1-2 mm for a prettier result, and the direction is to raise the nasal tip Autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage together / foreign material in nasal tip suspected to be mesh; said it could also be a diluted material. Anyway, if using autologous costal cartilage, removal is easy, so I don’t need to worry. They drew pictures and planned the design - Diagnosis: silicone deviation; that’s why the hump + crooked nose look that way - Lower the silicone, raise the nasal tip, lower the columella, and extend the nasal tip forward - Autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage together if needed + the foreign material in the nasal tip looks like septal cartilage, but since they’ll use autologous costal cartilage, it isn’t important - Orthodontic treatment doesn’t matter - 6.8 million
ㅂ - Plastic surgery specialist - Nose 6.5 million; can discount to 6 million if they reduce the price (same-day) - The director is handsome / said he was famous at his previous hospital (a place I just went to consult too because I was tagging along with a friend) - Autologous costal cartilage only (ear cartilage xx), silicone is too high so lower it - Rather than the nasal bridge, make the nasal tip flashy. If raised too excessively, the nostril shape becomes strange. They said the nose itself isn’t a short nose, but it seems to look that way because of the alar reduction from the first surgery. Right above the nostril wing? That part is a bit thick, so they recommended osteotomy - Autologous costal cartilage + lower silicone + slight osteotomy + lower columella + flashy with shape - The director’s style pursues natural beauty, so that was disappointing - Orthodontic treatment doesn’t matter

They drew pictures and explained everything with a basic framework, so there actually wasn’t anything to ask. But the price was a bit high - Autologous costal cartilage + lower silicone + nasolabial angle correction + osteotomy + short nose correction + flashy result + lower columella + improve front-view nostril exposure - 7.7 million, same-day benefit 7.1 million - Orthodontic treatment doesn’t matter
ㅂㅇㅂ - Plastic surgery specialist; only 2-3 surgeries per day - 6.7 million, CCTV + sedation anesthesia fee separate (probably think total 7 million) - Consultation was okay; straightforward style - To match the desired photo’s nose, osteotomy is needed, though of course it’s optional - Improve the short-looking nose and make the nostrils slightly not visible from the front - Since the nose still seems stretchable, the direction is to go as much as possible like the photo - Lower silicone starting point; autologous costal cartilage from ribs 6 and 7 + use septal cartilage; use ear cartilage too if needed. The foreign material in the nasal tip seems calcified, but they have to open it to know. If it’s mesh material, removal may be difficult. Because of scar tissue and things like that, the shape may not come out extremely pretty.. they said that - The septal cartilage is deviated. They said they’d try to improve that as much as possible if they can, but because this is revision surgery, it may be difficult; if it were the first surgery, they would try - Looks like 5.5-6 mm silicone was placed at the glabella - After surgery: remove cotton on day 2-3, remove splint on day 7 (can remove one day earlier) + external stitches and autologous costal cartilage stitches, remove internal stitches at week 2 - Orthodontic treatment doesn’t matter
Lower forehead-nose/glabella area (4-4.5) + pull columella out slightly (they didn’t oppose it; I suggested it first) + autologous costal cartilage ribs 6-7 + septal cartilage + ear cartilage if needed + remove nasal tip foreign material; could be difficult if it’s mesh, seems okay if it’s something else + osteotomy if I want it like the photo + said they would improve front-view nostril exposure
I had surgery at one of the hospitals here, and to state the conclusion, right now I like it. I think it was successful. I won’t say which hospital I did it at, and if I’m a broker, I’ll bite my tongue and die.
