Before<Before>After<After>My nose was seriously the typical low, short nose!!!! I’d heard people say that if you only looked at the shape, it wasn’t necessarily an unattractive nose, but it was so low right below the glabella, like I’d been punched there, and because the nasal tip was blunt, there were so many times it made me look piggish. My biggest concern was that my nostrils showed and my nose looked upturned..;;; So I had silicone inserted to raise the bridge and used ear cartilage to shape the nasal tip, you know? When I went around for consultations, most places said my septal cartilage was small and recommended costal cartilage, but the hospital where I had the surgery recommended using cartilage from both ears instead of costal cartilage. I was too scared to harvest costal cartilage, and I didn’t really want donated costal cartilage either, so after thinking it over, I decided on ear cartilage!! And because my nose looked slightly spread out, bulbous nose correction was also included, and since my columella was short, correcting it by bringing out the columella was done together too! So... basically, I raised my nose and corrected the overall shape. That’s right, it was almost like giving my nose a complete rebirth. I’m posting this right after getting the splint removed...... but I feel like the shape came out pretty nicely. As for the bruising lol, it’s only been 1 week since surgery, so please pretend you don’t see it
