Autologous Costal Cartilage Revision Rhinoplasty, 3 Months Post-op ..

After <postoperative asymmetrical 11-shaped nostrils><nasal tip that rotated clockwise>I had rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage at a hospital near Sinnonhyeon in March.

The result is .. absolutely devastating .. The shape is crooked, and a hole formed in the septal mucous membrane inside my nose, leaving the cartilage exposed, and I was left like that for nearly 3 months .. Even then, the hospital didn’t tell me accurately. They reassured me with vague comments like “there’s a bit of scabbing in your nose” or “the inside of your nose has become a little weak,” and treated it passively. In the end, I went to an ENT just in case, and was told that a septal perforation was suspected. (After listening to my breathing sounds, the doctor was almost certain. ㅠㅜ)

Other hospitals say the cartilage that has been exposed for a long time may have become contaminated, so they say I have to remove all of the autologous costal cartilage that was so difficult to harvest (I even had pneumothorax in the past / they also didn’t explain in detail how risky that was ㅜㅠ) .. When I think about my nose shape collapsing even more, I can’t sleep..

Ever since that day, every single day has been nothing but despair. I want to desperately talk anyone planning rhinoplasty out of it .. I want to go back to before my rhinoplasty ㅠ I got greedy trying to become prettier, and ended up paying money to make things worse.
