What I felt after surgery: padded bras were seriously crap.. ㅠㅠ They’ve been coming out really comfortable these days, but I guess they were still honestly uncomfortable. It hasn’t quite been a month since surgery now, and sometimes I just put on nipple patches and go out. It’s really different,, and how should I put it, there was this volume that padded bras couldn’t fill, and sometimes it feels like that has been satisfied?! I notice it a lot when I wear something like a slightly low-cut layered T-shirt. If someone asks when I feel the most satisfied, I can say it’s when I choose clothes. The fit of clothes really changed. But before, because my chest was small compared to my pelvis, my pelvis felt much wider, and now that my breasts are bigger, my pelvis doesn’t feel thaaat wide. Instead, my waist looks really slim and it makes me look like I have no belly fat.. lolololol When I ate, sometimes it felt like my stomach stuck out more than my chest, so I was kind of self-conscious, but now even after eating, my chest sticks out more, so my stomach looks less protruded^^..
As for the pain or swelling I felt around the time of surgery, rather than one specific spot hurting especially badly, I think it mostly felt like I was physically drained. After surgery, as soon as I got home I just slept in a daze, so I don’t remember well (I do remember being very thirsty and my throat stinging), and the next day, my body felt achy and worn out like muscle soreness. It wasn’t like I had a fever though lololol Just every time I moved or got myself up, my abdomen and upper body felt really tight and painful ㅠㅠ And there was also that unpleasant feeling when opening the refrigerator door. Maybe because of the season too, my skin felt much drier than before, so I remember constantly applying lotion at home. Now applying stretch mark cream and continuing to moisturize has become a habit, so it’s okay, but back then I kept saying why is my skin so dry and kept applying it.. I kept applying hand cream too. A lot of the swelling has gone down now, but there’s still some minor residual swelling, so I can feel a slight upper fullness, but it’s gone down a lot compared to the beginning, so I’m going to the clinic diligently, thinking time will probably solve this too someday.
Still, what’s reassuring is that the consultant takes such good care of me every time I go, and when they check my progress, they write everything down in detail so I can see what my current condition is and what changes there are, so there isn’t much I need to pay attention to separately, and I’m living comfortably. It was definitely hard in the beginning, but it wasn’t so hard that I regret it, so I have no regrets about breast surgery itself haha. They say there’s no gain without pain lololol. Living while thinking positively, time passed quickly. I think it took less than a week for me to return to daily life. On day 3, I went to the clinic once more, had the bandage removed, and had my progress checked, and I went standing on public transportation. Aside from worrying about bumping into other people, it was okay!! I don’t know about going to work because I haven’t tried it, but you can consider my condition okay from day 3. (For reference, I had an inframammary fold incision, dual-plane!)
And um, I think everyone feels differently, but I chose this because I hated my breasts before surgery so much.. (After taking a body profile, they really became completely flat and stuck-on..ㅠㅠ) I wonder if there could have been a better choice than this? But I also didn’t want fillers or fat grafting lolol so maybe that’s why I feel even less regret.
Anyway, the feel and shape are still far from complete, but I wanted to leave an update, so I’m writing this review! If there’s anything else you’re curious about, leave it anytime. I don’t know how I’ll be doing or feeling then, but I’ll share everything I experienced!! In 2025, I hope everyone receives lots of good fortune and that only happy things fill your year, with nothing upsetting! Thank you for reading my review~
