Autologous Dermis Revision Surgery 3-Month Review

In the 9th calendar year after surgery with silicone and ear cartilage, my health started to worsen, and then I began having pain in the silicone area. It felt like my nose kept being pressed down, the nasal tip swelled, the nasal bridge shape that had seemed straight gradually changed into a ski-slope shape, and it felt like the nasal tip was pointing up toward the sky. At first I tried to have it removed, but since I originally had almost no nasal bridge, I hesitated about that too. I learned about autologous dermis and researched a lot. They said the absorption rate differs by person, so a lot may remain, but almost none may remain, and height cannot be guaranteed. The director also didn’t really recommend the surgery because I had so little extra nasal skin, but still, I went ahead with the surgery thinking it would be better than only removing the silicone..

Then two months passed after surgery, and now I’ve entered the third month. Maybe because my dermis is thin and I have very little extra nasal skin, the absorption seems to be very fast. They say the two- to three-month period can look a bit burdensome, but mine is so natural lol The nasal bridge is slightly higher than before, and the nasal tip seems similar or a little lower. I didn’t expect much height from the start, but I also had correction for an upturned nose, and because they opened it again at one month to correct it, the nasal tip that had come down seems to have lifted again, so that part is a bit disappointing. As the nasal tip gets absorbed, it looks more visibly upturned. Unlike silicone, the contour isn’t sharply defined, so people actually say that even though my nose is higher, it looks softer. They harvested quite a lot of dermis, so I was worried about my buttocks too. The first week was hard, and for about a month it bothered me, but after that I hardly notice it. I’m just being careful not to fall or anything. The current height is exactly right, so I hope it stays like this, but that’s probably greedy lolol I’m going to try to just accept it lolol Because autologous dermis results are hit-or-miss, I think it’s good for people who don’t have big expectations for height and want to remove implants.
