I had surgery with buried sutures + ptosis correction, and it has now been about 1 year and 4 months. I had wanted natural-looking eyes from the start (correction of asymmetrical eyes), so I’m very satisfied now. After about a month, a lot of the swelling went down, and I think the bruising lasted about 2 weeks. After surgery, the anesthesia didn’t wear off, so one eye wouldn’t open at all… I was really scared then. And the swelling also went down completely unevenly… Still, it’s fine now.
Even if the swelling goes down unevenly after surgery, don’t worry too much! Oh, and if you get motion sickness easily, think it over again. I used to get motion sickness on buses, but now I get motion sickness on the subway too haha…. They say the Müller’s muscle that was fixed during ptosis correction affects this kind of nervous system.
