Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

I had double eyelid surgery (incisional) + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty! Day 7~~

<Current day 7><Day 1><Day 3><Day 4><Day 5><Day 6>Before<Before surgery>Leaving a day-7 review of incisional double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction! Even when I worked hard on eye makeup, it didn't show once I opened my eyes, which made me so sadㅠ So I decided to have surgery..

I wanted eyes where makeup would actually show.. I'll post here the simple day-by-day impressions I wrote in my notes!

--------------------------------

Day of surgery: Because the anesthetic was still there, it felt so weird when I opened my eyes lol It looked strange and gross because of the swelling + stitches, but.. for the eyes I saw during the design consultation..! I was doing compresses all day lol

Day 1: It got better than the day before, but I got red eyeliner lol And applying ointment to the epicanthoplasty area really hurt..ㅠㅜ I went to the clinic, the doctor checked it, and I got swelling laser treatment haha

Day 2: I'm not Sim Bong-sa or anything, but my eyes gradually started opening lolololol Still, it feels the same as day 1, so more diligent compresses today..

Day 3: Bruising appeared! I look like someone who just came back from a fight.. I went to the clinic for a checkup again today, and the staff said I don't have much bruising or swelling..ㅠ What a relief haha

Day 4: Finally getting the stitches removed tomorrow!ㅠㅠㅠ Because of the stitches, it looks so gross that I want them out quicklyㅠㅜ I just kept doing compresses today too.. When I do compresses, I always cover my eyes and just fall asleep..haha

Day 5: Finally got the stitches removed!! It doesn't look gross now.. But there is still bruising and redness, so I hope it goes away quickly~

Day 6: Everyone, be careful with epicanthoplasty.. In the morning, I rubbed my eyes and accidentally touched the epicanthoplasty area wrong, and I teared up...ㅠㅠ It hurts, so be careful even after the stitches are removedㅠㅜ

Day 7: I think a lot of the redness is gone and quite a bit of the bruising is gone too! Still, it's only been one week, so I think I need to keep watching the progress..haha I still have to be careful when washing my face or rubbing my eyesㅠㅜ I tried a little makeup

--------------------------------

They said a lot of the swelling should go down after 2-3 weeks, so I'm continuing to look forward to it! I'm going on a trip next month, so I'll take photos then and upload them~!
