Before <before surgery> After <immediately after surgery> <day 3> Hello! On February 14, I had 2 procedures: square jaw surgery and T-osteotomy. I’m only writing this review now because I’ve been battling swelling. The photos are from the day of surgery and day 3.
As you can see in the photos, I had severe asymmetry. It was lifelong stress for me.. I hated even taking photos, so it was always hard. This time I thought I couldn’t delay it any longer, so I made up my mind and immediately started looking into it.
I searched around online, booked consultations right away at places that felt right, and went in.
The consultant was very kind and gave a good consultation, and the director also consulted with confidence,
so after the in-person consultation, I made up my mind.
The things I paid attention to were the director’s experience, aftercare, and having an anesthesiology specialist on site. These 3 things. After the consultation, I came home, organized my thoughts, and immediately scheduled the surgery date.
After surgery my throat hurt so much, but they took good care of me, so it was somewhat betterㅠ
The photos above are before surgery, the day of surgery, and day 3. As expected, the swelling is worst on day 3.
I was careful with food and did compresses like crazy.
I’ll know more after more time passes, but I feel relieved, like I’ve solved a major task.
