After I explained, they immediately understood why I wanted that shape. They asked me to sit close and lift my face, then examined me and spoke as if I were listening to a professor's lecture, assuming I knew nothing about surgery at all and explaining everything from the very basics step by step, while inserting questions in between (desired nose shape - how it would proceed - surgical method - questions, etc.) They seemed to think very carefully about the proportions, symmetry, and bone structure of the face (seemed to value the basic characteristics the person already has and not force things beyond those conditions)...
