7 years after my first nose surgery, the tip area of my nose was a little crooked, and when I touched the inside of my right nostril I could feel something hard, as if cartilage was sticking out. From the side, there was a contracture, so I decided on revision rhinoplasty and used silicone + ear cartilage. Since it was a true revision surgery, I consulted with the doctor for a really long time. I emphasized that I wanted it neither too natural nor too flashy.
It has been 2 weeks now, and the major swelling has almost gone down. The columella on the left side has curled inward a little more, so the philtrum looks very slightly tilted, and because of that the nostrils look uneven too. I’m going back to the hospital in a month to check the progress, so I plan to watch it until then.
