I didn’t really shop around for clinics and decided on surgery right away thinking, “This is the place,” so I got anxious and searched here and there with different keywords to look for reviews, but there really weren’t many reviews.. I think I felt even more anxious because there were fewer reviews than posts asking for reviewsㅠㅠ So for people like that, I brought my own review! It’s now almost exactly two full months since surgery, and I’m posting this in hopes that it helps.
I had a lot of fat around my eyes, so I had incisional double eyelid surgery with fat removal + continuous dermal suturing method? After hearing stories from friends, I was worried that getting injections around the eyes would hurt a lot, but even now, two months after double eyelid surgery, I haven’t had any notable painㅎㅎ It’s interesting. What was a bit uncomfortable was, should I say it felt like the eyelid was being suspended above the double eyelid line.. Anyway, since it was fixed with sutures, I felt anxious wondering what if either my eyelid or the suture tore when I blinked? Other than that, I think it was smooth ㅎㅎ Looking back now, I think it was needless worry.
So now that it’s been a full two months!! Everyone who meets me is surprised and says my double eyelids turned out wellㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The swelling went down so quickly that people don’t believe me when I say I had incisional surgery (though I can still feel some swelling if I open my eyes wide and look upward). It seems like the double eyelid on my left eye is slightly bigger, but I think I’ll only know after watching how the swelling changes. If you have any questions, I’ll answer them. I was also anxious because there wasn’t much information, so I’m leaving this review because I want to help!
