A clinic-shopping review because I wanted my first double eyelid surgery in a pretty, semi-out style! I also wanted to visit ㅇㄹㅈ and ㅈㅅㅌ, but it was so hard to book consultations.. (But if I was going to spread consultations over 2 weeks like this, I should’ve tried booking them......)
Hospital: ㄷㄹㅅ Consultant: ㅎㅅㅈ Consultation fee: none Details: I liked that it was a one-doctor clinic. At that time I had read so many posts saying not to do ptosis correction, so I kept saying I didn’t want it, but maybe because there was resistance to that, they kept saying it would be better to do it. That bothered me a bit, but after other hospitals kept recommending it too.. I kind of accepted that oh, I must have sleepy-looking eyes.. The director seemed busy and there were really a lot of people even though it was a weekday. And it’s not a clean and pretty hospital!! They said the semi-out line I wanted was possible. This place was the cheapest, so if I didn’t like the others, since I liked the line here anyway, I was planning to go here! Here, natural adhesion + ptosis correction was 980,000 won (VAT separate), under-eye fat repositioning was 790,000 won (VAT separate), total same-day price was in the 1.9 million won range!
Hospital: ㄴㅅㅎ Consultant: ㄱㅈㅎ Consultation fee: none Details: The manager here has really pretty eyes.. And she was friendly without being excessive or burdensome, so it was great. The doctor also explained things in detail. I don’t remember well... 2.31 million won (same-day 1.65 million) (natural adhesion, upper canthoplasty, epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction) under-eye fat repositioning 1.65 million (same-day 880,000) = 3.95? million won (2.53 million) But they only set the line low... so hold, hold I really liked the non-excessive friendliness, explanation, and the clean, high-end hospital!
Hospital: ㅈㅅㅌ Consultant: ㄱㅅㅎ Consultation fee: 10,000 won Details: First of all, the manager-doctor-manager consultation itself wasn’t bad, but I didn’t have anything more to ask the doctor.. I just asked whether the line couldn’t be set higher.. (Doctor: no no, can’t) So from that point I started feeling the consultation fee was a waste.. Then the consultation ended too quickly, waste22.. When I paid, a lot of staff were watching.. waste333 then too... After paying and going down, the front-desk staff downstairs didn’t acknowledge me as I was leaving, then noticed I was leaving, stopped me, and asked whether I’d paid the consultation fee, so I felt kind of bad.... I already felt the consultation fee was a waste.. I think this place would suit someone with a lot of questions. The manager was okay, and simply asked what I wanted to do and that kind of thing. I think they recommended natural adhesion and ptosis correction! Maybe they also recommended a slight canthoplasty. Anyway double eyelid surgery 1.3 million, under-eye fat repositioning 1.3 million, VAT included! This was also after various discounts, and before that I think it was in the 4 million won range? I think so.
Hospital: ㅇㅇㅅㅊㄷ Consultant: ㅇㅈㅎ Consultation fee: none Details: I liked that it was a one-doctor clinic. The manager asked which hospitals I had been to and also asked about their estimates, so I was really flustered at first.. But the doctor explained things so clearly that I wanted to book here!! The price was on the expensive side, but I felt convinced. And the doctor asked twice more if there was anything else I wanted to ask, so I said I wanted under-eye fat repositioning, and the doctor said that was the first thing they noticed as soon as they came in too...쿠 They said because I have protruding eyes, the under-eye fat shows more clearly! For this place, definitely go for a consultation after visiting one or two other places!! I totally recommend it. You can understand what your eyes are like and what the problem is. And they were the only one who didn’t recommend ptosis correction, so trust++ After going around to several places, I learned that my eyes are protruding and that I have some fat (+eyelid drooping)! So I think that’s why ㄴㅅㅎ and ㅈㅅㅌ set the line low. After hearing the reason at ㅇㅇㅅㅊㄷ, I understood! They said that with protruding eyes, if the line is set large, there’s a risk the end of the double eyelid line will hit the orbital bone and roll in!! So they said it would look pretty if they set the line while lifting the drooping eyelid through incisional surgery!!
Natural adhesion + upper canthoplasty = 1.6 million won VAT separate, they said it was possible, but the line would come out low. Incision = 1.5 million won VAT separate --> They recommended this! Under-eye fat repositioning = 1.5 million won VAT separate
There was 100,000 won each for a partially public review and same-day booking. With all discounts applied, it’s 1.3 million won each, total 2.6 million + 260,000 = 2.86 million won. But the thing I’m slightly worried about is that there aren’t many incision reviews here..
For now I’m going to think about it until tomorrow and decide!! It’s more expensive than I expected, so I might not do the under-eye fat repositioning..?
