Before/after/after. I watched Director Kim Jinwoo’s video on YouTube and thought it matched well with the direction I was pursuing, so I booked a consultation. Unlike the feeling I had after consultations with coordinators or managers at other hospitals, the director consulted with me directly, and the sincere consultation made me trust him more. He said surgery could be done naturally in the not-excessive direction I wanted, so I ended up booking the surgery too.
When the splint was just removed, the nose height was much higher than I had expected, and there was swelling and a tight, firm feeling around my nose and mouth. But he said the nose height would come down as the swelling went down, and the tight, firm feeling would also disappear, so I waited.
Even right after surgery, there was almost no pain in my nose, and since the surgery used ear cartilage, my ear felt more painful.. It’s now a little over 2 weeks, and I can see the swelling gradually going down. Honestly, I think once the swelling goes down, the feeling I want will come out, so I’m waiting with anticipation!!
