As the title says, it has been exactly 3 weeks since I had incisional ptosis correction + double eyelid surgery. There is still some residual swelling, but it feels like I’ve recovered about 70-80%. Still, acquaintances and friends say I look somehow greasy and a bit scary...(It must be because the swelling hasn’t gone down enough, right..?) First of all, my eye-opening strength has definitely improved, so functionally I’m satisfied. The problem is the asymmetry, as you can see in the photo. On the left, the double eyelid is slightly visible toward the outer corner of the eye, but on the right, it’s hidden almost to the level of a monolid.. It’s not that I like one side better than the other; I just wish either side would become symmetrical If more time passes, will the swelling go down more and make them look similar?
Also, the clinic said my lacrimal caruncle already shows a lot, so canthoplasty could make my impression look harsh, and recommended not doing it, but I’m thinking maybe I should have done it slightly...
